Argon 18 2011

GALLIUM PRO 2011 - Carbon Monocoque Road Frame (NEW)
Flagship of the Argon 18 collection, the Gallium Pro has been completely reinvented for 2011. Guided by their HDS principles, Argon 18 has developed a new mold that maximizes tube size in the most appropriate areas of the frame. The deformation resistance tests confirm that this newest version of the Gallium Pro will please sprinters and anyone capable of putting out serious power.

A new design for 2011
Thanks to its lower bottom bracket and improved front lateral rigidity, the 2011 Gallium frameset exemplifies optimal balance and high performance.

Radon 2011
RADON - Triple Butted Aluminium with Carbon Stays
With a geometry that closely mirrors the Gallium Pro’s, this triple-butted aluminum and carbon combination offers outstanding value. The Radon is an excellent choice for cyclists looking to get serious about riding. As a result of data obtained in the Gallium’s development process, the Radon frameset was completely redesigned in order to better resist torsional forces while giving a more comfortable ride.

E114 - Carbon Monocoque TT/TRI Frame
The bike of choice for some of the world’s finest triathletes such as Tim O’Donnell, Luke Bell, Ain-Alar Juhanson, Samantha McGlone and Bree Wee, the E-114 needs no introduction. Known for its stability and comfort, featuring the ONEness concept and AHB 5000 integrated handlebar, the E-114 offers a wide positioning adjustment range for a sound ergonomic union of rider and bike.

Properly positioned on a stable bike, you’ll be more aerodynamic and faster, because in truth, the main source of aerodynamic drag is the rider, much more than any part of the bike. The E-114 is fully compliant with UCI regulations governing the dimensions and technical characteristics of time-trial bikes, as set out in its technical bulletin published in July 2009.

E112 - Carbon Monocoque TT/TRI Frame
For some, the E-112 is Argon 18's top-of-line triathlon bike. Similar to the E-114 in that both are fabricated using the same mold, the 112, too, stands out for its stable, solid feel, superior aerodynamics and ease of control even during moments of all-out effort.

For 2011, Argon 18 is offering two versions of the E-112, a 3D equipped model as well as the standard model. The E-112 is fully compliant with UCI regulations governing the dimensions and technical characteristics of time-trial bikes, as set out in its technical bulletin published in July 2009.

E80 - Aluminium TT/TRI Frame
Manufacturers rarely make much of a R&D commitment in developing an entry-level bike, yet that’s what Argon 18 did last year when they totally redesigned the E-80, which now shares the same geometry as the E-114 and E-112, as well as internal brake and shift cables, all at a fraction of the price.

The E-80 is fully compliant with UCI regulations governing the dimensions and technical characteristics of time-trial bikes, as set out in its technical bulletin published in July 2009.

ARSENIC - Full Carbon Cross Frame
The Arsenic is dedicated to the growing sport of cyclo-cross. Argon 18 wanted to offer a top-level dedicated ‘cross frameset that would meet the needs of even the most experienced, hardened cross riders…and so the Arsenic was born.

ELECTRON - Triple Butted Aluminium with Carbon Stays (NEW)
The Electron is the real deal, a track frameset for all events: Matched Sprints, Points or Madison racing. The wheelbase is short and the frame is stiff…very stiff.

ELECTRON PRO - Carbon Monocoque Track Frame (NEW)
As with our road bikes, the Electron Pro is more than just a frame; rather, it’s a complete, integrated unit that encompasses the frame, EL99 Pro monocoque carbon fork, ASP 4000 seatpost and 3D Headtube.

All of these elements have been designed to work together, notably in boosting lateral rigidity, so important in a track bike
